3 week of underwater photography of the island of Formentera
The Week underwater photograph is an event that will take place on the island of Formentera between 4 and October 10. This is an initiative of the Council of Formentera with the aim of fostering and promoting underwater photography for those who practise diving, as for people who like to enjoy in the water with just a few glasses and a pipe.
For this reason has prepared an intensive programme of activities directed from which have never had a camera in his hands and / or have little experience in the water, the most experts. With underwater photography courses free initiation and advanced level, taught by Manu San Felix, a professional photographer and the first photographer to win the World Festival of Underwater Image of Antibes and the Wildlife Photographer of the Year.
It has chosen the month of October to celebrate the event due to the good water temperature at that time (around 24 degrees). And thinking for people who come to the event accompanied by non-divers, as these dates are excellent for enjoying the beautiful beaches of Formentera: espalme, Llevant, Ses Illetes, etc.. A unique opportunity to enjoy the island is known as the last paradise of the Mediterranean on dates where the tranquility and beauty of its landscapes to captivate visitors.
